Hello all,
We’ve got another great session lined up for tomorrow’s Let’s Talk Vero at Riverside Theatre with City Manager Monte Falls and Mayor John Cotugno.
Guided by Baerbel O’Haire, the conversation will dig into:
The surge of airline interest in Vero Beach
Growth pressures across the County and the upcoming Comp Plan update
Three Corners — including the new Clearpath/Madison Marquette partnership and roll-out timeline
Doors open at 5:00pm with complimentary gourmet sandwiches and a cash bar, followed by the program from 5:30-7:00pm.
If you haven’t RSVP’d yet, please do so below. We'd love to see you there.
IF YOU RECENTLY UPDATED YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE -- IMPORTANT
If you updated your driver's license in the past year and want to vote by mail, call the Supervisor of Elections office ASAP at (772) 226-4700. The staff is super friendly, and it takes less than two minutes.
Background: Starting in July 2024, Florida began issuing new driver's license numbers with 4 random digits for security reasons, but the DHSMV doesn't automatically share these new numbers with elections offices. This means if you try to request a mail-in ballot or sign a petition using your new license number, it won't match what's on file and will be rejected. To fix this, you can call the Indian River County Supervisor of Elections Office, update your information online, or fill out a new voter registration form marking "update" and providing your new license number.
