Why not use downtown taxing district funds if they feel so strongly about it? Hint: There's not nearly enough funds there...

Harry -- my understanding is the goal is to use "other" available funding sources for the most part. It is an important point, though. How will this get funded? I will try and find more specific answsers to that question. No doubt it will come up in the public workshops.

We can improve the down town experience, beautify with foliage, and keep traffic moving in a safe manner, at all times of the year, improve conditions for business, all at the same time. How? By reducing lanes. Look more closely and I believe you’ll find this is a fantastic direction with foresight for the city that’s a win for everybody. ~ liz
